I started out as a radio and television reporter in the U.S. Air Force—yes, I’m a veteran—before writing for The Hollywood Reporter and The Wrap, and later running content and marketing at the American Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and Center Theatre Group. Somewhere along the way, I picked up a degree from Columbia University’s Journalism School—and a healthy skepticism about just about everything.
By day, I’m Associate Vice President for Communications at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. By night—all hours, to be honest—my thinking is consumed by storytelling, with a dash of snark, about theatre, culture, democracy, and the occasional absurdity of higher education.
